William Brew

I am a retired Aero engineer. I have travelled extensively and lived and worked in many countries and have experienced many cultures.

I have had a lifelong interest in the visual arts and have been painting and drawing for more than 70 years. This aspect of my life was very private up to recent times, and only in the last year or so have I entered the public arena.

I really enjoy my pastime and I believe art is very important for itself and that it can exert a very positive and essential influence on broader society. Happily I have become very involved with the art movement in Balbriggan and have given a number of classes and advice in the use of oil paint to interested people from the area.

My earnest belief in the good influences of art motivates me to share my experience with others in the community where I also enjoy sharing in the endeavors of my new artistic friends. I am very pleased to be part of this project and I hope you enjoy our efforts.
