Nicola Weldon

 Nicola works primarily in clay and plaster. Each piece she creates is unique and the process she has developed in clay includes taking an impression of plants, flowers, or seaweeds of choice and pressing them into a fine white pre–mixed clay. When this has dried completely each piece is hand painted.

 Nicola also creates abstract designs in plaster as well as plaster reliefs in a variety of sizes. These can be left in their raw white state, or colour can be added for contrast.
